Editorial Reviews

 Book Description
This is one of those profound little books that sends ideas out into the world like a shockwave. It is an Epic Fantasy adventure that goes beyond fantasy and examines the basic questions of heroism, genius, and the quest that every hero must undertake. Travel with Bosch as he embarks on his journey to accomplish his quest and watch as he struggles to overcome the obstacles both external and internal that every hero must face.

I have been recording this novel into audio podcast format chapter by chapter. As of today I am up to chapter 23 of 26. You can listen to these chapters free at my website Storm the Castle.com Creativity and fantasy with an edge

The Illusionist -Movie with a release Date of August 18th

The Illusionist - This is a fantasy movie that hasn’t generated a lot of pre-release buzz but it might turn out to be a very satisfying movie. It has Edward Norton, Paul Giamatti, and Jessica Biel in it!

Plot Outline: In turn-of-the-century Vienna, a magician (Norton) uses his abilities to secure the love of a woman far above his social standing.

Scheduled for Release on August 18th

My take on this movie - I have a sinking feeling that this movie is going to spend way too much time in various libraries, studies and drawing rooms drinking tea and smoking cigars (ala Sherlock Holmes kind of stuff) And it very much reminds me of the book Jonathan Strange and Mr. Norrell which did exactly that. I only made it about a hundred and fifty pages into that book before boredom made me put it down for good. I just got tired of men in vests looking at their pocket watches and talking about magic. I want to see some magic and I hope this movie delivers. If there ever was a good reason to rip off some mind bending magical feats its Jessica Biel!
