I have been working on a new website called: Medieval Castle: The strength and secrets of a thousand years.
On the site I have interesting information about medieval castles and how they were built. I also have some pictures that I took inside a real medieval castle that is over 1,000 years old.
The picture shown here is of a model of the castle. It is inside the castle and you can almost imagine knights gathered around it and using it to formulate their plans for defense of the castle.
There are some pictures from inside the castle including a picture of a black suit of armor I call the Black Knight.

Part of the modern allure of the Medieval World is due to the popularity of Role playing games. Many, many of these games are set in medieval times. There is a certain wonder in adventuring around ancient worlds and wielding swords to fight dragons. This popularity of medieval style games has also inspired a lot of interest in how to make these games. In the early years of game design a person had to be a computer programmer but in todays world you can make your own games without any programming knowledge at all! There are software tools that do all the programming work for you and leave you to worry about the creativity.

This is a screen shot of a game level that I designed using the free software. this level is called “The Gauntlet”
And Best of all a lot of this stuff is totally free. I have a tutorial on one of my websites that shows you how to make your own game using the genesis 3d software platform. This is a free program. And I am currently creating a new tutorial on using the Reality Factory software which takes the genesis3d program to a new level.

Here is my knight inside the Gauntlet.
If you always wanted to make your own video game but didn’t know what to do, or didn’t think you had the money check out my tutorials.

There are some new lessons in the fantasy art school. And today I did a new logo for the school. This picture here of the dragon and the knight is the new logo. This logo is part of a larger work that I am making into a lesson.
And this drawing of the unicorn is the newest lesson.
The lesson takes you through the steps necessary to draw the same unicorn. If you like fantasy art and maybe you do some drawing or painting yourself you might want to check out the free fantasy art school. And - if you are an artist I am always looking for any works that I can add to the site. Maybe I can turn your work into a lesson - and of course you would get credit for your work! This unicorn drawing lesson is located here
