Heroic Dreams - All Things Medieval

A lot of people really enjoyed my paper castle project. And a lot of people have asked me to make another paper castle. ( I have gotten a lot of email from people asking me to make another one and from what I can tell quite a few people made the first one) The first project was fun and making another one has been on my list for quite a while. Anyway, I have finally started making a second castle. This one is a bit more complex and interesting than the first one. It is definitely a bit more of a challenge. 

This new paper castle is the famous Neuschwanstein castle and I chose this one because it is just so remarkably beautiful. 

Yesterday I built a prototype mockup of the castle so I could get all the big details worked out. And hopefully today I will start making the official package along with all the artwork and instructions. I will make this into a complete package so it can be downloaded, printed out, and made by you at home if you want to make one.

Here is a picture of the first pass prototype. It’s looking pretty good and I think the next version is going to look absolutely fantastic; Neuschwanstein Castle is just such a perfect subject for a project like this.
