April 12th, 2007Scouring through the listings at amazon.com I have found some really unique things and some nice bargains. Here is the current cream of the crop.
Authentic Hand Forged Roman Sword
I was really shocked, and pleased, to see this. And we probably have the movie 300 to thank for the resurgence in some really nice roman/gladiator type weapons. The thing about this sword is that it looks so really good. It’s hand forged and battle ready. Just unique in look and feel. And as of this posting it’s 49.49. Just not going to find something with this kind of feel for that price. Amazon also has a really nice large image so you can get a closer look.
Albion Hand Battle Axe with Display Plaque
Swords are always the big rage but I have a serious weakness for axes and I have been recommending this axe foor a long time.
My weakness for axes might have something to do with my online gaming. Whatever game I am involved in I am always a barbarian or warrior and I always wield an axe - There’s just something about it. Swords evoke respect, but axes evoke terror! Anyway, This axe is currently on sale at almost half price. Currently 24.99 and in stock. Probably never going to see this price again.
For the more traditional I have chosen this excalibur sword. It’s 44″ long which gives it a good size and presence and it’s currently marked down from 74.99 to 32.99. That’s 56% off.
They currently have it in stock but I don’t know how long they will last at this price.
Amazon.com just carries a lot of nice weapons and armor. And the really nice thing about it is that it’s amazon.com. No worries about returns or shipping.
